Rota Palagruzona 2010.

FIFTH DAY ,"KOMIZA" , Friday, 25th June

The boats left for Komiža. The winning crew of “Comeza-Lisboa“ tied the falkuša behind the research vessel “Palagruža” for a tow back to the town, and joined the celebration in the ship's  saloon.

That evening in Komiža a concert, organized by Ars Haleutica, was performed by musicians from Split in the honor of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia and the first Rota Palagruzona regatta.

All boats of the regatta received gifts and a Letter of Honor for participating, and winning  diplomas were awarded to the falkuša “Comeza-Lisboa“ in the category of falkuša, the leut "Jaruh“ in the category of leut and the cutter "Komiža“ in the category for other boats.

The celebration on the Komiža waterfront ended a unique Mediterranean regatta, with probably with the longest tradition in the Europe. It was a sporting, but most of all cultural event which saved a memory of a unique fishing era of Komiža. All participants felt the atmosphere and they knew that they are participating in a historical event.

During the evening in the organization by Ars haleutica was a concert performed by musicians from Split in the honor of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia and the first Rota Palagruzona regatta.

All boats participants of the ragatta had received presents and gifts and the Letter of honor for participating in the first Rota Palagružona, and the diplomas of the winner were received by falkuša „Comeza-Lisboa“ in the category of falkušam, leut „Jaruh“ in the category of leut and cutter „Komiža“ in the category of other boats.
